Yeah…this morning I am again sick and tired to read about Putin, nuclear threat, war, the financial success of the war industry, shipments of heavy war material into Ukraine and predictions how this war will continue in the coming years.
But the most annoying thing is that there seem to be very limited efforts for a resolution of this conflict by STOPPING the war with peace debates and bringing the involved parties to the table – at least what you have as public information available.
Where has all the human thinking gone that we end conflicts by talking – not matter how different opinions are?
Why are we not talking with each other and try to find compromises and finally resolution?
Where are all these super famous and glorious leaders gone (Obama, Merkel, Gore…) that have a voice and could step up to start the dialogue (Obama is actually touring Europe with the message that change is starting with every single person and we should not wait for leaders…)?
Are we really thinking that we should ignore one side and simply say we will not talk as long as you do this and that?
Why cant we do this in parallel to all other efforts?
Why do we not have an international backed peace mandate?
What is wrong with us that we believe killing people should be the price to be paid?
These political leaders are limited and having boundaries we should take away from them. Their focus being elected and staying in power is over writing their common sense.
