The next trip is finally close. It is a 4-week travel with our T6, which is called Van Halen. We go down to Provence in South France just for a stop-over and then head to Girona in Spain. A small and beautiful town about 80km from Barcelona. A cyclist paradise. Lots of road with different levels of altitude, many relaxed rides along the Costa Brava and people who are welcoming and taking care of cyclists – in the city and on the road.
We stay there two weeks before heading to Barcelona to make the jump to Mallorca. It is race day by the end of April and we will settle in, visit friends, do the race and hang out afterwards for some days.
From there we get back on the main land and make our way into Italy. Piemont is waiting with amazing food, great landscape and – some of the greatest – wines. So we will stroll around this region for as long as we are up to it. Getting to know people, places and priorities down there.
Will be the first tour this year with Van Halen and I am looking forward to the simplicity while going around. Not many things with you, freedom to go wherever and whenever. Having the full choice.
And the first trip to be shared on the blog – lets see how this works out.
