KI – labeled on everything

Well, I am German, so Michael Schuhmacher is obviously somebody I grew up with. This outstanding Formula One pilot dominated a decade in sports around the racing world, and had a super tragic ski accident since he is no longer seen in public. The family protects him from public, so everybody is respecting this.
A couple of days ago, a gossip magazine in Germany came out with the first interview of Schuhmacher since his accident. Make a long story short – this interview never happened and people say it was done “with the help of KI”. And this story should have never been published, the chief editor is fired and the Schuhmacher family is getting their lawyers ready.
What does it mean that this interview was done “with the help of KI”? I am sure that you can use whatever KI Software to help generating whatever text. But you can also make up such an interview without KI. Just like that. And there are still humans engaged to decide whether something should be published or not.
So, shouldn’t the headline not be “An interview done with the help of unscrupulous thugs to make money from the misery of others”? The use of a software is the least worrisome part of this disgusting story. And it fuels the misunderstanding and misinterpretation about a thing called KI. Don’t be misguided. Use you common sense to judge.
